This workshop offers a focused exploration of the respiratory system with an emphasis on two common chronic conditions: Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Trainees will gain a solid understanding of the clinical presentation, and management of both conditions. Through real-life case studies and explanations of diagnostic tools—such as spirometry and peak flow measurements, trainees will enhance their clinical reasoning and decision-making skills. The workshop will also cover current clinical guidelines for diagnosis and treatment, equipping trainees with evidence-based knowledge to support patient care in real-world settings.
