Immune System, Malignant disease and Blood & Nutrition

In this workshop, trainees will enhance their understanding and confidence in high-risk immunosuppressant drugs commonly used in clinical practice, as well as the fundamental principles of cytotoxic medications. Practical guidance will be provided on safe prescribing and monitoring, alongside strategies for recognising critical symptoms. Trainees will have access to a blood and nutrition guide to strengthen their understanding of vitamins, minerals and certain deficiencies and gain a greater understanding of the different types of Anaemias. Trainees will also have the opportunity to reinforce their learning by practicing exam questions designed to prepare them for the registration assessment.
