The session will highlight how to identify and respond to risks in practice, and how to embed a patient-centred, safety-first mindset from the outset of the training year.
Demonstrate an understanding of how to manage risks and take responsibility for the safe, legal, and effective supply and administration of medicines.
Apply tools and techniques to reduce medication errors related to prescribing, supply, and administration.
Respond appropriately to complaints, incidents, or errors and take steps to prevent recurrence.
Act with openness and integrity when things go wrong and raise concerns even in difficult situations.
