This depends on what you prefer. Before applying it is a good idea to get some work experience in the different pharmacy sectors find out what you enjoy most. The pre-reg year helps define your future career and you don’t want to end up in an environment you don’t like?

What is Pre-registration Training? |
|
 After obtaining your MPharm degree and before registering as a pharmacist in Great Britain, you will have to complete a period of training, the 'pre-registration training year'.
This is usually a one-year period following the pharmacy degree; and involves completing 52 weeks of employment in a training site that has had its training programme approved by the Society.
