A series of nine training days covering major topics of the pre-registration syllabus including:

• Pharmaceutical Calculations
• Responding to Symptoms, POM to P switches
• Drug-Tariff
• First Aid
• BNF workshops
• Clinical governance, CPD and Audit
• Medicines Ethics & Practice
• Communication Skills in the Pharmacy
• Introduction to MURs and pharmacy services

The course also includes a complementary tutor training workshop held in July.

Examination style tests and tailored feedback - At every opportunity we help individuals understand their current strengths in order to enable new learning to be effective.

Maximise learning interaction with other trainees - Mixing group sessions allows individuals to maximise learning from fellow trainees.

Training Team

Our training team consists of a group of pharmacists who have years of practical experience and knowledge. Trainees will always have the opportunity to discuss their concerns with the training team. On most training days there will be two pharmacist tutors available to deliver the training.
